How did your passion for flamenco develop?

One of my friends was taking flamenco classes and she dragged me to a concert she was performing at. It was the first time I saw live flamenco and as I was watching I was like: “Wow, this is something I can do”.

I kept going to a few more shows and eventually, I went to a show by a Simone Pope who was going to be my teacher. She inspired me to start and then I tried one of her classes it’s awesome.

I love the fact that flamenco is so inclusive as a dance form, compared to let’s say ballet. that is very rigid. Flamenco is all about authenticity and rawness, and that is what makes it great and everyone could get involved it doesn’t matter who you are.
