JOSE TIAGO LOPES PEREORA, PORTO, PORTUGAL

My last adventure was in Brazil. I needed to cross over the river, the distance was around almost 2000 kilometers. I took a boat from there. 32 hours with no internet connection, no signal. All in the river, all in the boat, the people from the state of Amazonia, so I was really the big gringo there and I was expecting only to stay 7 or 8 days there but I ended up staying three months! So, I spent all the carnival there I met a lot of people and made a lot of good connections and one of the most open-minded people I have ever met in my life.

Do different things when traveling. Because when you follow this traveling blogs on Instagram, it all seems perfect but when you have a unique experience, something that lasts forever and you can tell different people, and no one else has done it. It’s awesome man, and if you want to do it and experience different things, try it.

Don’t be afraid to talk to the local people wherever it is, from the countryside of Amazonia or from the urban city of San Paulo. For example, I met totally different kinds of people, business people, or from the countryside, where people don’t even have smartphones, they don’t have a normal street to drive a car. You need to enjoy both worlds, you can understand the people and how they think. You grow up a lot as support and respect the people and their culture.
