GEORGINA, CONCORDIA, ARGENTINA

I’m a psychologist. Traveling for me as a psychologist it’s important, to see situations with a lot of mental aperture.

Traveling and getting to know different cultures really opens your mind and it makes you understand that in some countries you can see a disorder in something that in other countries it’s really normal and cultural.

For example, in other places, you can see macho behavior, where a man is with several women and a woman can’t. Or that the women in Turkey are covered with veils. In Argentina, that is seen as really weird, and at the same time, it’s very questioned. And over there, it’s a matter of culture. In other countries, there are arranged marriages for children and in Argentina that is seen as crazy, but there, that is culturally accepted. So in that sense, it allows me to understand more and see that there are different worlds.
